Progress

 Here's where we stand tonight.

Almost there! So close I can taste it!

The tile guys were a bit late today, but that's okay because it was raining.  I don't blame them ... I wouldn't want to work in the rain.  They completed the coping around the pool except for the polymeric sand grout.  As long as it doesn't rain tonight, they will finish that tomorrow.

The screen enclosure guys were also here today.  The horizontal bars have been reattached to the tile so that it's stable once again.  They also added the screen to the bottom portions.  Yay! Now we can have the house open without worrying about a bird or other critter making its way into the house.

The pool guy came in and installed the new lights.  Yay! Once the pool is finished, we will be able to use the pool and spa at night. That's been a hard NO!! for quite a while.  I don't want any surprises with slithering critters that are hiding in the dark water.

  

So, the end is even closer to us.  Wahoo!

First time parking on the driveway ... the end is in sight!

Finally! We can now park on the driveway.  We just need to clean out the garage to be able to pull in. Then it's on to cleaning out all of the junk from construction (the contractor's job, definitely not mine!)

Tomorrow and Friday is pool deck completion.  Then next week finishing the pool surface and pool equipment.

We also need to do something about landscaping. Three live oak trees came down yesterday; they were causing issues with bugs getting into the house, not to mention a precarious lean toward the house, thanks to a few hurricanes.

Baby steps toward the finish line, for sure!  

Yesterday and Today

So, this is the only thing I have to share for yesterday.
