First time parking on the driveway ... the end is in sight!

Finally! We can now park on the driveway.  We just need to clean out the garage to be able to pull in. Then it's on to cleaning out all of the junk from construction (the contractor's job, definitely not mine!)

Tomorrow and Friday is pool deck completion.  Then next week finishing the pool surface and pool equipment.

We also need to do something about landscaping. Three live oak trees came down yesterday; they were causing issues with bugs getting into the house, not to mention a precarious lean toward the house, thanks to a few hurricanes.

Baby steps toward the finish line, for sure!  

Yesterday and Today

So, this is the only thing I have to share for yesterday.

And here is today's progress.  Wahoo!  First, let's see the driveway:

 

How about the pool now?

"It's going to get worse before it gets better," Craig.

There is sand and dirt everywhere in the house. Yes, I have run the Roomba ... numerous times each day. Every time someone goes outside, though, it gets tracked in.

The crew began laying the tiles on the driveway today. It's becoming real to me.  They expect to have the driveway and walkways done by Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed, but mentally prepared in case something delays it.

The pool crew also finished building up the beam, and they should be starting the pool tile tomorrow. 

A lot can happen in a few days!

Since the previous post, a lot has happened.  The entire driveway has been removed. The sidewalk from the pool to the front of the house has been tiled.  The pool company framed out the beam yesterday, and today they are adding concrete to the frame.
