Landscaping does the trick

Landscaping really makes the project look great. We opted to install small plants because everything grows like weeds here ... even the weeds!

Here are some before and after pictures.  The "before" photos look very sad if you ask me, but the "after" ones sure look amazing.

Some of the plants have already grown quite a bit, so it looks like I need to take more pictures!

Pool Lights and Cleaner

We had LED lights installed in the pool and spa. One can choose from several colors (green looks like an pool with no chemicals, and red ... can you say blood?) or a montage of colors.

I'm still having trouble figuring out how to use the app to control it. 

The Kreepy Krauly is also giving us fits. We haven't used it in almost a year, and it's tough to remember the exact settings and connections.

Patience is definitely a virtue!

Progress

 Here's where we stand tonight.

Almost there! So close I can taste it!

The tile guys were a bit late today, but that's okay because it was raining.  I don't blame them ... I wouldn't want to work in the rain.  They completed the coping around the pool except for the polymeric sand grout.  As long as it doesn't rain tonight, they will finish that tomorrow.

The screen enclosure guys were also here today.  The horizontal bars have been reattached to the tile so that it's stable once again.  They also added the screen to the bottom portions.  Yay! Now we can have the house open without worrying about a bird or other critter making its way into the house.

The pool guy came in and installed the new lights.  Yay! Once the pool is finished, we will be able to use the pool and spa at night. That's been a hard NO!! for quite a while.  I don't want any surprises with slithering critters that are hiding in the dark water.

  

So, the end is even closer to us.  Wahoo!
